How do I access/use/program the multi cores of the Spresense with the Arduino IDE?

I've looked hard for (and have not found) information that explains how to program the different cores of the Spresense with the Arduino IDE. I have an application that requires two cores to run two different tasks. Please help me. Thanks.

Hi @thedubdude,

The latest release: https://github.com/sonydevworld/spresense-arduino-compatible/commits/master Spresense arduino compatible package 1.3.0 will have multicore support. I don't think that the documentation have been released yet but please stay tuned.

Try to update your Arduino IDE to use the latest Spresense package and see if you can get the multicore examples to work in order to get you forward.

Yesterday I successfully ran the multicore example projects using Spresense v1.3.0 and Arduino IDE v1.8.9. Message passing & multitask operations ran as expected, albeit I did not expand past the demo code.

I'm not at all clear how to access the example. Nor am I clear what these files are: "https://github.com/sonydevworld/spresense-arduino-compatible/commits/master".
