      Hi there,

Just a shortcut to avoid further testing. Does the old trick of setting all the pins as output work on Spresense to consume less energy ?

      Regards,

        Hi @CGM11 ,

Setting to output is one thing, then you need to set the level too. And the level depends on what you have connected on the pin. If you use the extension board you have pull-ups connected to basicall every GPIO pin. If you force them low you will constantly drain current.
So you need to know your hardware to be able to optimize the current consumption.

To measure the current consumption from the board I can really recommend this device: https://www.qoitech.com/
It is called OTII and is a power supply that will very accurately measure the current over a wide range seamlessly.

Hi @TE-KarlKomierowski , I was talking about unused pins (I wasn't explicit about the unused word sorry, avoiding floating pins), setting unused pines as OUTPUT or INPUT helped a lot on other hardware I use. So, OUTPUT-HIGH, thx.

Thanks also for the suggestion, that thing looks really cool and useful.

          Keep it up.
