Multicore programming using VStudio and SDK

I am just getting started with this and I'm very confused about using all 6 cores with the C SDK (not arduino). The ASMP example is not clear at all. Do i need a seperate worker file for each core? Is there an example of using all 6 cores with the SDK?
Also, the directory structure/ project manager is also confusing - do i need to create a new project for a seperate command or do i create seperate commands within the existing project?
