Longer cable for the camera?

Is it possible to buy a longer cable for the camera?
For the raspberry pis there is a longer cable available like this here https://www.adafruit.com/product/5211.

But the Sony Camera have a different spec.
The connector is a 20FHT-SMR-GAN-TF.

Is it ok to use any 20-Pin Flat Flex Cable?
What do I need to take care of? Maximum length? Special shielding?

Have you seen the list of the recommended replacements for the flat cable?

I guess if it's the same specifications of the ones in this list you can try it, but those are the officially recommended ones

About maximum length, the only thing the documentation says it that it is advised to use a flat cable as short as possible.

I bought the 102mm length and it worked perfectly.
In this link I could get the 254mm long version too.

And yes, pitch is 0.5mm
